We may also share your personal information and/or social-demographic information, including, without limitation, a unique identification number (“UID”), postal code, gender, marital status, education, ethnicity/race (where permitted by applicable law), employment related information, and non-personally identifiable information on household members, with third party sample/market research companies (individually each a “Third Party MR Company” and collectively the “Third Party MR Companies”) for the purpose of identifying survey opportunities that you may be eligible for through the Third Party MR Companies. If you are eligible for a survey opportunity, the Third Party MR Company will provide your unique identification number and a survey link to us and we will invite you to participate in the survey. We will not share your name, email address, or phone number with the Third Party MR Companies. In connection with the sharing of your information with a Third Party MR Company, your information may be transferred and stored outside of your country of residence. Your participation in such survey opportunities does not entitle you to any benefits offered by, or membership with, the Third Party MR Companies.
SHARING
Though we make every effort to preserve your privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law, where we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a judicial proceeding or administrative legal, a criminal investigation, a court order, or legal process served on our Web site. You may unsubscribe from offers and other communications from the Company by clicking "Remove Account" on Viewfruit or by emailing us at Viewfruit Contact Email. We will process your request for removal within 10 business days, although we attempt to process it within 24 hours.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
Viewfruit may update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by placing a prominent notice on our site.
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
• Personal Profile Information. The Join / Sign Up form collects your first and last name, your email address and your chosen password. If you Sign Up via Facebook or any other social media platform, we also collect this information.
• Contact Information. If you opt to receive surveys via text-message or other messaging media we also collect your mobile phone number or relevant contact details.
• Questionnaire Data. The initial profiling questionnaire collects information about your background, education, working status, consumer habits and, optionally, your health. We collect information about any updates you make to your profiling information.
• Opinion Data. During research opportunities we collect information you provide relating to your opinions, attitudes, experiences and use of certain products or services. Occasionally we may collect video, audio or photographic submissions you make during a research opportunity.
• User Experience Data. We collect information about your logins, comments on blogposts, ratings, polls, web pages viewed.
• Rewards Information. Any personal information we may require in order to issue you with a prize or reward or monitor your usage of our credit point scheme.
• Correspondence Data. Any correspondence you send us.
• Social Media Information. Information you provide to us via social media or through your social media feed.
• The Application/Services also collect certain information automatically, such as information about your device and device capabilities, including, without limitation, the device operating system, the other applications on your device, IP address, device network provider, device type, time zone, network status, browser type, browser identifier, unique device identification number (such as identifiers for analytics or advertising), network provider user ID (a number uniquely allocated to you by your network provider), Media Access Control (MAC) address, International Mobile Equipment Identity, location and other information that alone or in combination may be used to uniquely identify your device. Specific examples of this data and the technology that collects it are below:
Geo-location data. The Application/Services will request your permission to obtain geo-location information from your mobile device, and such geo-location information may be provided by the Application/Services at any time, whether the Application/Services is open or not. If you consent to sharing your geo-location data, in addition to the uses set forth under "Viewfruit’s use of information" below, Viewfruit will also use your location information to offer you the option to participate in location-based surveys and market research and/or to share such geolocation data with third party clients to demonstrate certain location and/or traffic patterns of Application/Services participants. In addition, Viewfruit may share your geo-location data with third party vendors to generate surveys for market research and for other research from aggregated location patterns. Geo-location data also may be used by ad networks to provide you with location-based advertising. The ad networks' use of data, and how to opt out, are described in more detail below.
If you no longer wish to share your geo-location data through your device, please change the privacy settings in your device for the Application/Services.
Generally, we collect Personal Information when you provide it to us by visiting the Viewfruit site and Features or using our Services. This may include registering for any account with us, filling out surveys, joining a mailing list, or otherwise volunteering or providing information about yourself. We may use your Personal Information and other information we collect about you in order to provide you with our Services, to improve the Viewfruit site and Features, to provide advertising, content, surveys, offers, promotions, and rewards, and for other marketing, administrative and general business purposes as described in this Privacy Policy.
If you don’t provide us with your Personal Information, we will generally be unable to provide you with our Services and you will be unable to use the Viewfruit site and services.
DELETION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
You may request that we delete the Personal Information that we collected about you. By asking us to delete your Personal Information we will have to close your account and you will no longer be able to use the Viewfruit site and Features or our Services. Please note that your Viewfruit account cannot be reinstated once it has been deleted.
If you want to delete your Viewfruit account, please submit your requests by: (1) Emailing us at Viewfruit Contact Email; (2) Clicking the "Remove Account". We will process your request for removal within 10 business days, although we attempt to process it within 24 hours.
Additionally, we are fully compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and all other applicable data protection legislation. GDPR legislation provides individuals with a number of rights in relation to their personal data. You have the right to request access to the personal information that we hold about you, to ask for personal information to be corrected if you believe it to be incorrect, to ask for your personal information to be erased and to ask us to stop processing your personal information.
APP
When you download and use the Viewfruit mobile Android app, we automatically collect system and performance information about your device, including but not limited to, the device's Model, Advertising ID, Android version, Operating System, and App version. We use this information for validation purposes and fraud detection and/or prevention, including, without limitation, identifying duplicate or fraudulent users.
COOKIES AND ADVERTISING TECHNOLOGIES
In addition to the ad networks, we may set (or allow third parties to set) and access cookies and other similar technologies, such as web beacons and embedded scripts, on your computer. A cookie is a small data file that a website may send to your browser and which may then be stored on your system.
Web beacons and embedded script are invisible images or other programming code, which may be used on the Viewfruit site and Features for a variety of analytical purposes and to help us provide a better and more customized user experience, including, without limitation, providing personalized features and preferences to you within the Viewfruit site and Features; in doing so, we may link the information we collect from cookies and other similar technologies with your Personal Information and may track your browsing activity on our merchant partners’ website in order to provide you with advertising, content, surveys, offers, promotions and rewards, and for other marketing, administrative and general business purposes.
